Only The Boss can command the attention of 150,000 people like that. I’ve rediscovered “I’m On Fire” recently and luckily that led me to this video. The song and performance are so simple – he literally sits in a chair on stage and sings – but it’s brilliant and moving on all fronts. Plus, the sky in this video is stunning.

One of the many things I love about music is that a song stays the same while you change over time. So when you listen to a song for the first time in a while – as I did with “I’m On Fire” – it can take on new meaning while simultaneously calling back memories of when you last listened to it.
